Nalas is a Kurdish village in East Kurdistan and 40 km from Iraqi border. The children in a Kurdish family are suffering from a skin disorder believed to be caused by the chemical weapons used by Saddam Hussein’s regime against Iran – a war which mostly affected Kurdish civilians. All of the affected children but especially Abdurrahman, the youngest of the siblings, are suffering from isolation due to the skin conditions.
