Similar to Argentina’s Plaza De Mayo mothers, the Peace Mothers initiative in Turkey is formed by Kurdish mothers who lost their children in the war between the Turkish state and the Kurdish resistance movement in Turkey. The documentary speaks of these mothers’ daily lives, their struggle to bring peace and reunite with their children despite having experienced the great destruction and suffering of war.
