Aydil is the only entry to the Festival from Syria this year. This powerful documentary is about the sorrows and pains of Kurdish women living under the oppressive anti-Kurdish Syrian regime. In this film, women talk about their difficulties against the backdrop of remote Kurdish villages in the divided land of the Kurds on the Turkish / Syrian border.
