A teacher travels with a driver in a car to arrive on time for the opening day of school in a remote Kurdish village. On the way they see a man whose pregnant wife is about to go into labour run out of gasoline. They share their gasoline with the other car but a few kilometres later they in turn run out of gasoline The driver tries to find a village nearby to get gasoline. The teacher decides to follow the driver but gets lost in a snowstorm. While children eagerly wait for their teacher’s arrival villagers are aleady trying to find her.
