What is it like to be a child of war – not in the height of conflict, but in the low post-war tide when children resume telling stories and playing games? Irish filmmaker Mark Cousins travelled to South Kurdistan in 2008 choosing the village of Goptapa as the location for this new documentary which explores life after war. When Mark goes back for a second time, he brings films and cameras with him introducing children in the village to the magical art of cinema.
