Narrated from renowned Kurdish writer Sherzad Hassan’s story, this film’s opening scenes start with the attacks of a flock of crows’ on a rich landowner’s property. The landowner tries a variety of ways to prevent them from eating his harvest. On the other hand the villagers are suffering from unfair treatments from the landowner. The tension between the villagers and landowner rises when the landowner forces children in the village to prevent crows attacking his crops. When a fierce battle ensues between the two parties, village children become victims of the conflict. Hassan Ali Mahmoud’s feature made its first festival debut with 15th Pusan International Film Festival, South Korea, 2010 to take part in the Official Competition.
