The story takes place just before 1990 in Kurdistan, Iraq. Like many others, an isolated Kurdish village is surrounded by heavy snow and the villagers are facing many difficulties in their daily life. Groups of villagers are trying to get a pregnant woman to hospital while her son tries to trace an old midwife in empty villages near to their village.
